In 2010, she was called into the field of addiction healthcare due to the loss of a loved one and founded The Scott © as the CEO and director of business affairs. She and her top-flight medical and clinical team transformed The Scott © from a humble grassroots effort growing it into one of the most well-respected US Medical Board model advanced concierge luxury addiction companies both in the United States and internationally. Her adeptness in navigating diverse fields is further evidenced by her transition into philanthropy.
As the visionary founder of American Pictures, Inc., a non-profit film organization, Kat was deeply moved and motivated by the words of Bob Stutman, a seasoned ex-DEA agent with five decades of experience. Hearing him speak at a private event, she was struck by his stark warning that a whole generation would vanish over the next 30 years due to the fentanyl crisis. This revelation ignited her passion for activism and strengthened her commitment to safeguarding America’s youth from this escalating threat through her quarter-of-a-century ambitious campaign “Dying by Trying”.

Kat Flanigan is happily married to Mr. Flanigan, and has a beautiful daughter, four young grandchildren, and one big extended family.
As a young woman, Kat experienced a deep and profound spiritual experience with God which is her endless well of faith, hope, and charity.
